Affiliates
The following groups work with Richfield Heritage Preserve to keep the park running smoothly and looking beautiful.

Baldwin Wallace conducts research for educational purposes on the
plants, water, animal soil and minerals from Richfield Heritage Preserve.
​
The Buckeye Trail Association is a large, strong body of volunteers who maintain and promote the Buckeye Trail, including the sections within the park.
Cuyahoga Valley Career Center
​
Cuyahoga Valley Career Center was instrumental
in the 2018 renovation of the park office, which is located at the Broadview Road entrance of Richfield Heritage Preserve.
Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve
Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve is a nonprofit organization that
supports fundraising, programming and structure maintenance. They were instrumental in the park’s creation and are Champions for Kirby’s Mill.
The Ohio Horseman's Council - Summit County Chapter helps fund
and maintain multi-use equine trails and buildings throughout the park.
Ohio Operating Engineers and its apprentice training program provides
operators and heavy machinery needed for earth moving, slope work,
grading and trenching within Richfield Heritage Preserve.

Oviatt House Incorporated is the nonprofit organization responsible for the
restoration and preservation of Oviatt House, located at the park’s Oviatt Road entrance.
​
The Richfield Historical Society was instrumental in helping designate
the lower lake property as a historic district on the National Registry of Historic Places.

Western Reserve Land Conservancy
​
Western Reserve Land Conservancy provided guidance and support during
the park’s creation and continues to help the RJRD explore additional public
funding sources and potential uses for the property.
